Sorry, I didn't intend for you to think that the command should work on your system -- apt is a Debian tool. My understanding was that Red Hat has something similar in FC1. Sorry I can't tell you how to do this with Fedora; I've never used it. The ideal place to ask about problems like this is probably that Fedora user mailing lists. I know if you asked such a question on Debian user lists you'd get plenty of help, and I expect the same is true of the Fedora lists. Good luck!
