shell command to close a window

Hi,
I would like to close a certain window out of a perl script. With
google I found that the shell command

kwmcom winClose

should at least close the active window. But that seems not to work
anymore. How can I manage to close a window? Is it possible to
close a specified window (how can it be specified then?) or only
the active window?

Thanks a lot for your help
Lutz
