Difference between Italic and Bold Italic?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me why KDE shows no difference between a Italic font and a
Bold Italic font? No matter what font I try, any italic font is
automatically also bold.

I have the newest QT, Freetype, Xft and FontConfig.
