Java Applet Problem

Hallo

I have Kde 3.1 (Linux Mandrake9.2) I have problems using Java Applets Window  
I used Blackdown's j2re.1.4.2  and even Sun Java j2re1.4.2_03. Sun Java seems 
to work good with Mozilla Browser cause I can open a Java Applet(Volano Chat) 
but with Konqueror It can't be opened...What do I have to do to solve that 
problem
