Just kidding, but you will be happier with KDE if you either read the dox 
or explore all of the menus.

The background color is under: "View" in the main Konqueror menu.

The text color is in the Konqueror Control Center module in the: 
"Appearance" section.  To get this widget either:

	Settings => Configure Konqueror

from the Konqueror main menu or directly with:

	Desktop => Appearance

from the Panel's "Preferences" menu.
