Engineering on a Budget – NASA/JPL Educator Workshop

Educator Workshop: Robotics and Our Solar System

When: Saturday, Oct. 7, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, California

Target Audience: Teachers for grades 4-12

Overview: Back by popular demand, this educator workshop explores activities that bring standards-aligned, NASA engineering into the classroom – and that can be easily modified for all grade levels. We will focus on bringing Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to your students with activities that have them build models, make revisions, and operate within representative engineering constraints. Come join us to design a mission to Mars, then construct a rover to drive around on the surface!

  • This workshop is not available online; you must be physically present to participate.
  • This workshop is limited to educators at U.S.-based institutions and organizations.
