The answers to NASA/JPL Edu’s annual Pi Day challenge are now available as an illustrated answer key and downloadable poster.

In case you missed it:
On March 14, in honor of Pi Day, the informal holiday that celebrates the mathematical constant pi, the Education Office at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory released the third installment of its Pi Day challenge. The challenge gives students – and learners of all ages – a chance to put their pi skills to the test to solve some of the same problems NASA scientists and engineers do. Designed for students in grades 4-12, it consists of four illustrated math problems compiled into an online graphic, classroom handouts and (new for this year!) a slideshow for students.
