Galaxy Mission Completes Four Star-Studded Years in Space

NASA's Galaxy Evolution Explorer celebrates its fourth anniversary
with some of the "hottest stars" in the M81 spiral galaxy. Galex
spies the galaxy's "sizzling young starlets" as wisps of
bluish-white, swirling around a central golden glow, where a
population of "senior citizen" smoldering stars resides. The mission
launched April 28, 2003.
