"Learn how to enrich your math and science topics with real-life examples!"
Working scientists and engineers have contributed to pre-college education by writing standards-based examples that illustrate how math and science topics can be used in interesting settings, including everyday life. The examples are intended to help teachers enrich their presentations of math and science topics.

Training Highlights
* Team taught by Cherise Hoskins, P.U.S.D. Science Teacher and V. Art Hammon, Pre-College Education Specialist, NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory
* 10 PUMAS examples will be introduced
* Each participant will receive a free kit of supplies to implement the 10 examples
* Participants will also get a private group tour of JPL and meet some of the PUMAS scientists
Complimentary snacks and beverages will be served.
