A Perfect Galactic Storm
A storm of galactic proportions is taking place in this new false-color image containing data from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope. The violent galaxy cluster, called Stephan's Quintet, contains a galaxy that is headed on a collision course with another, creating a shock wave (green) bigger than our own Milky Way galaxy.
