DisplayPort connectors no longer working (regression?)

Hi,

As detailed in another mail, my Skylake system freeze when connecting a secondary monitor using DisplayPort (first monitor was HDMI) with Fedora kernel 4.4.6. Now with current drm-intel-nightly it doesn't freeze when I connect the DP monitor but there is in fact no visible reaction at all - the DP-monitor remains black and xrandr shows all DP connectors as disconnected.

With drm.debug=0x1e, there is in fact some reaction in the kernel log when the DP-monitor is connected, but it remains offline. This is the full set of logs generated when the DP-cable is inserted:
