Hi Adolfo! We are working in a tool related to performance analysis called Gputop.
It is not “Intel Gputop” which is an old project that has quite a few limitations. Depending on what you are trying to achieve Gputop could be a better tool at this moment, although it requires more setup. You can find the project here at Robert’s Bragg repository: http://github.com/rib/gputop You can have a look and explore the interface here: http://gputop.github.io/ And the setup for the tool can be found on this wiki: https://github.com/rib/gputop/wiki/Build-Instructions For any questions or support you can email Robert Bragg or me. On Behalf Of Sanchez, AdolfoX Hello I would like to have more information about the Intel_GPU_TOP tool I have not been able to find much information, but I did found that it is part of the intel-gpu-tools. The system is using Skylake H i7-6700TE I have the following questions 1)
Is there a glossary of terms used by the Intel_GPU_TOP tool?
2)
The GAM is near 100%. According to this link:
https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E53394_01/html/E54763/intel-gpu-top-1.html “Some GPUs report some units as busy when they aren't, such that even when idle and not hung, it will show up as 100% busy.” Is this still true or has this bug been corrected? 3)
Is the Intel_GPU_TOP tool still in use or it has been replaced by other tool? Best Regards, Adolfo Sanchez --------------------------------------------------------------------- This e-mail and any attachments may contain confidential material for |
