So I have a i76700 system that I'm trying to use the integrated graphics
with.
It sort of works with kernel 4.2 but vlc have some issue with the video
overlay, its always on top and no scaling. Also dp MST is not working at
all with my dell screen so had to go down to 4k in 30HZ.
Trying to use 4.3-rc6 however resulted in no graphics at all.
I attached the kernel log. what can be seen is that linux in 4.3 detect
the amd graphics cards that it do not in 4.2. but I have in the uefi set
the system to use the integrated card so I'm not sure if linux should
even start the radeon card. But it later tries to use the intel part and
things is not working out ok.
Please file a new bug at [1], add drm.debug=14 module parameter and
attach dmesg there.
Please make sure you have recent firmware files from linux-firmware or
[2] installed.
bug at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92572
latest firmware used
skl_dmc_ver1.bin -> /lib/firmware/i915/skl_dmc_ver1_23.bin
I attached the kernel log with debug=14 to the bug report.

Jani.
