Hi Ben

Thank you for responding.

Just to verify that I have done this correctly, I added
"drm.debug=0x2" to the kernel command line (in Grub), booted,
suspended and resumed, and then ran Dmesg.

I wasn't sure exactly where to put it, so please find a copy of the output here:
