I have added TearFree option to my /etc/X11/xorg.conf and still see...

$ egrep -i 'sna|uxa|tear' /var/log/Xorg.0.log
[  2501.150] (II) intel(0): SNA compiled from 2.99.911-275-g717e00f
[  2501.151] (**) intel(0): Option "AccelMethod" "sna"
[  2501.151] (**) intel(0): Option "TearFree" "true"
[  2501.152] (**) intel(0): "Tear free" disabled
[  2501.154] (II) intel(0): SNA initialized with Sandybridge (gen6, gt2) backend
