We'll get here through intel_fb_initial_config()->drm_setup_crtcs() but as I understand crtc->mode will only be set afterwards through intel_fb_initial_config()->drm_fb_helper_single_fb_probe(). At least testing on my ILK I get here with mode_valid=false. --Imre
