Lars,
This is all discussed in the release notes for 3.6, here:

Please review that.

Hi

I did setup a cyrus imap server in debian bookworm in a fresh install with version 3.6.1-4.

Now I am rather helpless, I do know the old mail structure of cyrus, /var/run/mail/[a-z]/ and under each a "user" directory aith the user mailboxes inside.

But none of them do exist in the new setup in the new path.
I did set the mail path to:

defaultpartition: default
partition-default: /local/mail

And in /local/mail I do only see a UUID folder and a stage. folder, but NONE of the [a-z] folders.

BUT if I do create a users malbox in cyradm with "cm user.testuser" I can send mail into and read with IMAP, but still no "/local/mail/t/user/testuser" folder on disk with mails in it, just UUID folders.

Did that setup change in cyrus 3.6.x ?

And: does the [a-z] folder structure still work with sieve (beside the UUIDs in mail...)?

Aka: I put the sievescript defaultbc in /local/sieve/t/testuser ?
Or is that structure changed, too?

Thank you.

MfG,
Lars Schimmer
