Sorry for the possibly dumb question. Cyrus has shut down and is no longer working after a routine update of its TLS certificate this morning.

Syslog /var/log/messages and /var/log/maillog:

sm-mta[91344]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root): opendaemonsocket: daemon IPv4: cannot bind: Address already in use

sm-mta[91344]: daemon IPv4: problem creating SMTP socket

(… repeating …)

sm-mta[91344]: NOQUEUE: SYSERR(root): opendaemonsocket: daemon IPv4: server SMTP socket wedged: exiting

Stop Cyrus and check that all processes are gone before starting it again. I’ve had it happen that I had to kill -9 a few.
