Hi Gabriele,

and how is it? ;-) It's probably directory rights? I use:

/etc/cyrus.conf: lmtpunix cmd="lmtpd" listen="/var/spool/postfix/public/lmtp"
/etc/imapd.conf:lmtpsocket: /var/spool/postfix/public/lmtp

/var/spool/postfix/public
»»»
drwx--s--- 2 postfix postdrop ./
srwxrwxrwx 1 root postdrop lmtp=

Ciao,
Martin

Hi, I used to configure postfix with mailbox_transport = cyrus and the cyrus entry in master.cf using "deliver".
I need now to change it to lmtp.
I tried this:

mailbox_transport = lmtp:unix:/sonicle/var/imap/socket/lmtp

but I get a "...[/sonicle/var/imap/socket/lmtp]: Permission denied", though these are full permissions:

sonicle@www:/sonicle/etc/mail$ ls -l /sonicle/var/imap/socket/lmtp
srwxrwxrwx 1 root root 0 May 31 00:21 /sonicle/var/imap/socket/lmtp

Any idea what's wrong?

Gabriele
