Hi,

I tried reconstruct -rxf on the user's mailbox, no progress.
What I missed ?

The current man page for "reconstruct" says:

reconstruct  does  not  adjust the quota usage recorded in any quota root files.
After running reconstruct, it is advisable to run quota(8) with the -f switch in
order to fix the quota root files.

And the one for "quota" says:

-f     Fix  any  inconsistencies  in the quota subsystem before generating a re‐
              port.

I don't know whether this is different in 2.4, but it sounds like the "quota" tool would at least be a good place to start.  I'd suggest checking its man page before you run it, in case older versions behaved differently or needed different invocations.

Cheers,

ellie
