What distribution are you using? If I recall correctly, on Fedora I had some similar issues and had to grab the timezones database in order for this to work.

I will be able to take another look when back at home and perhaps provide more details.

When I send a meeting invitation, the time information appears as utc in the message content, this causes confusion. how do i set the utc timezone to regional..? but the meeting attachment time is correct
