Real big mailboxes?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

Is it a good idea to have really big mailboxes?

When not: what would be a good limit to split a mailbox?
And is this a "per folder" limit, or a "per mailbox" limit.

Background: even good providers give a limit for mailbox size, maybe they have a good reason for that.

I understand that a folder cannot handle more messages then the filesystem can handle ;-)

With regards,
