Hi Janos,
Your understanding is the same as mine: on successful IMAP or POP authentication, the user's inbox should be created if autocreate_quota is 0 or higher.
Is there any error messages showing up in the log?
If you set autocreate_post: 1 and send the user some mail, does that create the mailbox successfully?
Otherwise my suspicions lie with virtdomains and unixhierarchysep causing the mailbox to be created somewhere you're not expecting. Do a cyradm listmailbox \* to list all the mailboxes in the system and check.
Let us know how you go!
Cheers,
Nicola

Greetings,I have set:autocreate_quota: 0in a newly installed cyrus-imapd30-3.0.4_1 (FreeBSD 11.1-STABLE).However, when an authenticated user logs in, both imapsync(1) andThunderbird say that the mailbox does not exist, nor do I see theauthenticated user's mailbox listed when I log in as cyrus admin withcyradm(1).Seems like I'm wrong thinking that setting autocreate_quota zero orhigher is not sufficient to create the mailbox upon successful login?--Janos Dohanics----Cyrus Home Page: http://www.cyrusimap.org/List Archives/Info: http://lists.andrew.cmu.edu/pipermail/info-cyrus/To Unsubscribe:
