Well i tried in on Slackware 13.1 that uses libc-2.11.1.so and the same error is reported. I don't know if this means anything but i am
running this machines on a VmWare workstation (but i guess that can't be the couse).

Mupdate call some function from slackware distribution,
which has a memory manage problem. Or not?
