Authentication system failure in Cyrus Aggregator

Hi guys:

I'm configuring a mail system with cyrus with the aggregator concept. The servers I have are 1 as backend, 1 frontend and a mupdate.
The whole system of sending mail through telnet command works correctly, however, 

authentication from the frontend to the backend does not work and throws the following error:

imap[4628]: accepted connection

imap[4628]: badlogin: localhost [127.0.0.1] plaintext john SASL(-13): user not found: checkpass failed
