We're running cyrus-imapd-2.3.8 on Solaris 10. Recently, the `quota' command failed with this error in syslog: Jun 29 19:58:49 castor quota[27067]: [ID 240394 local6.error] IOERROR: opening quota file /imap/conf/quota/N/user._______.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.INBOX.Deleted Messages: File name too long Running it by hand resulted in this error: # /usr/local/cyrus/bin/quota > /var/tmp/1.quota failed building quota list for '*': System I/O error: %m The deeply-nested folder seems to be created by Apple Mail. I could delete it with `cyradm', but the user kept recreating it. Is there a fix for this problem, perhaps in later Cyrus versions? We use the `quota' command to generate over-quota warnings automatically. -- -Gary Mills- -Unix Support- -U of M Academic Computing and Networking- ---- Cyrus Home Page: http://cyrusimap.web.cmu.edu/ Cyrus Wiki/FAQ: http://cyrusimap.web.cmu.edu/twiki List Archives/Info: http://asg.web.cmu.edu/cyrus/mailing-list.html
