Sorry for late response.  On this box:

root@captain:~# file /srv/mail/config/mailboxes.db 
/srv/mail/config/mailboxes.db: Cyrus skiplist DB

I don't see any skiplist errors in the log - just checkpoints.  I can check
again next time this issue rears its ugly head.
