All of our mail backends are currently Solaris with SAN storage using vxfs. We're considering a move to Linux, but which filesystem to choose is still a major unanswered question for us. After reading this entire thread, it makes me realize that I've been taking vxfs for granted. It's been rock solid and the performance is fine.
