Try doing a manual LMTP delivery to Cyrus, and to amavisd-new for comparison. ie: foo$ telnet localhost 2003 mail from:<nobody@xxxxxxxxx> rcpt to:<user1+spam> data [etc] and the same with "telnet localhost 10024". Compare the headers and the logs and it should be obvious what's happening.
