You can do this with stunnel - make one end of the tunnel your imaps 
port, and bind the other end to the loopback interface.
Of course, that effectively gives you a port running IMAP (worse, one 
runing IMAP which Cyrus mistakenly believes to be secured) - but you can 
run it on whatever port or host you like.
