Hi, all. I would like to know if the hard limit on the quota is still
2 Gigs in some of the latest versions or user absolutely can not have
their box gone over 2 Gig.

I am using an old version of Cyrus Imap on SLES 9 (2.2.3-83.25) and I
do not think that there is a newer version available for this SLES 9.
Are there anyway to increase the quota to let user actually stores
more than 2 Gig of data? Available patches? Or just compile and
install the latest version (that already fixed this limit)?

You can remove any quota limit for some of your users!

To expand on this, the quota limit of 2/4 GB was only a problem that took place during the quota checks.
By removing a user's quota file, they can effectively pass the 2GB limit. I believe the hard limit for Cyrus 2.2 was 4GB. I have successfully used mailboxes as large as 8GB on Cyrus 2.3
