Hi, If you have a dump of the mailbox's (ctl_mboxlist) then you can restore those, personally I back those up weekly as well as /var/spool/imap If you don't, re-add the users, then do reconstruct -r -f user.username (obviously replace username with the username in question) and it will reconstruct the mailbox and find all the folders for you and add them to the mailboxes db. Then do that on all your users, and you should be good. As far as 2.3.9 vs. 2.2... if you're only dealing with the message spool... it should be easy to massage it together. if you're trying to bring back duplicate, sieve, seen, etc... it might be a hassle.
