Use of NFS via TCP

I know it's recommended not to use Cyrus over NFS.  But what about NFSv3 
or 4 via TCP, instead of UDP?

On a small network, I would imagine this would work alright.  I wonder 
if the documentation (caution) is referring to UDP.
