It does not generate mail headers according to RFC 2882 and RFC 2047. According to RFC 2822 message header lines must contain only ASCII characters (sect. 2.2). If a message header line has to transport any non ASCII characters they MUST be encoded as defined in RFC 2047. You should send the authors of the senders MUA a friendly mail pointing out that their piece of crap they call mail client is broken and it would be a smaller PITA if they would implement a mail standard that is around for now 10 years. > Do I have to do any setting to allow japanese characters ?
