I know this isnt a specific cyrus error, but im not getting anywhere on other mailing lists or googling and was hoping that maybe someone on this list has had the same error at some time and would be able to tell me how to fix it.

Im running SLES 9, with postfix/cyrus/web-cyradm/squirrelmail, for the most part its working, i can log into web-cyradm and create domains and user accounts, but when the users try to login via squirrelmail i get this error in the logs:

Jul 18 12:08:31 moses saslauthd[7955]: PAM unable to dlopen(/lib/security/pam_mysql.so) Jul 18 12:08:31 moses saslauthd[7955]: PAM [dlerror: /lib/security/pam_mysql.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory] Jul 18 12:08:31 moses saslauthd[7955]: PAM adding faulty module: /lib/security/pam_mysql.so Jul 18 12:08:31 moses PAM-warn[7955]: function=[pam_sm_authenticate] service=[imap] terminal=[<unknown>] user=[nick.smith] ruser=[<unknown>] rhost=[<unknown>] Jul 18 12:08:31 moses saslauthd[7955]: DEBUG: auth_pam: pam_authenticate failed: User not known to the underlying authentication module Jul 18 12:08:31 moses saslauthd[7955]: do_auth : auth failure: [user=nick.smith] [service=imap] [realm=] [mech=pam] [reason=PAM auth error]

It seems im missing the pam_mysql.so, i have confirmed that it is no where to be found on the system. I have installed every package i an think of to get that file, pam-devel etc and still cant seem to find where that file comes from or what i need to install to get it.

Has anyone else ran into this problem on SLES9? Can anyone help shed a little light on this for me?

Thanks for any and all help.

Nick
