As far as I can tell, one always gets such messages after changing (or
at least adding to) /etc/apt/sources.list.  I find they go away on the
2nd and later updates (i.e., you can issue another one right after the
first and the message should go away).

It's a nuisance, but it seems to be basically a cosmetic problem.

Of course, that's not the only possible cause of such warnings.
