    Hi Folk,

Thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding as we worked through various options regarding the hackathon for IETF 107. I also want to thank everyone who responded to the survey. Your responses and comments were very helpful.

With the help of the survey results, we believe that a virtual hackathon would have few teams still with champions, and of those teams, most would have few, if any, additional participants. Consequently, we will not host a virtual hackathon as part of IETF 107.

Of course, we still encourage you all to continue to work on running code related to your IETF work, but as far as coming together for a hackathon, let’s plan and hope to all be able to gather together again at IETF 108 in Madrid.

There is no need for you to unregister from the hackathon or to update the hackathon wiki at this time. Thanks again for your understanding and support of the hackathon.

    Cheers,
    Charles
