I'm not the biggest fan of using Github in IETF work, but fair is fair.
Read the article. The gist is that "commercial" accounts and private
repositories associated with Crimea (Russian occupied Ukraine), Cuba,
North Korea, Iran and Syria or their persons are restricted due to trade
laws. AFAICT from the article, there is no restriction on these people
using public repositories and contributing to open source activities
such as the IETF.
So let's not go non-linear here.
