Ole,

	While the distance between Thailand and Singapore is about 2K km, they are connected by a land bridge.  It is not hard to imagine things getting messy in Bangkok have some impact on Singapore.

IETF 106 is being held in Singapore, so I am not sure how Thai politics would impact us.
