[Next Generation Internet Initiative] NGI in London and Milan: come join us!

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Sorry for spamming, but I found this an amusing coincidence(?):

On 21 March (Wednesday during IETF week), the EU Next Generation
Internet initiative will hold an event in London. It overlaps a little
with the IETF Plenary, but maybe some of you want to "discuss how we can
build new alternatives for a more democratic future internet[sic] at an
evening event on the 21st March 2018".

Here's a slightly de-trackered URL for the registration page:

Have fun! (I won't make it to IETF in person myself.)

Let’s discuss how we can build new alternatives for a more democratic future internet at an evening event on the 21st March 2018.

Reimagining the Internet, the first event in a series of discussions on how European citizens can retake control over the future of the internet, will take place in London on Wednesday 21st March. Questions such as “Could Europe build the kind of alternatives that would put citizens back in the driver’s seat?” and “What would it mean to build a human-centric internet?” will be addressed.

This event brings together policymakers, civil society leaders, innovators, activists and everyone else involved with shaping and thinking about the future of the internet.
