I think ted's earlier longer message about making lists of pros/cons and such applies here... this generally isn't a problem, for most folks.
Generally speaking users (clients) and servers (service providers) sort out the mix of v4/v6 and translation, if appropriate, such that connectivity is available between the 2 parties.

If there are folk who need ipv4 to speak to ipv6 they must sort this out on their own, but really "users" today just don't seem to notice/care, they connect to the things they want to connect regardless of their or their service providers' configurations. 'Monetary exchange' means connectivity is available.
