This is a good idea.  Taking it a step further, perhaps a warning could be included when subscribing to an IETF list from an email provider who is known to use DMARC.

I like that.

Actually, split the difference to start with - its probably a coding pass to personalize a warning based on provider.  So do a) Add a warning to the IETF mailing list page, b) add a warning to the confirm message that's sent out when you subscribe that contains the warning regardless of provider, and c) eventually customize the confirm message based on provider.
