the very fact that draft-ietf-v6ops-dhcpv6-slaac-problem created a 100+ messages thread over the last few weeks in v6ops might serve as an indication (and in that thread statements very similar to mine have been voiced, btw).
You might reject the following statement as similarly broad and unjust: many guys with a genuine interest in driving IPv6 (and being involved on a daily basis) have been repelled by what's happening in 6man and v6ops in the last yrs and have subsequently lost any interest in contributing.
