The IETF motto is “Running Code and Rough Consensus”. And we try to arrange opportunities for that code writing to happen. The IETF Hackathon focuses on open source projects and Internet technology, the CodeSprint is about IETF’s own tools and web services, interoperability events test specific pieces of technology, and so on.

I wanted to let everyone know what we will be hosting another IETF Hackathon at IETF-98. The Chicago Hackathon will run from Saturday March 25 to Sunday March 26.

And remember that what you do at these events is up to YOU. Add your own topic to the wiki, and come to the Hackathon to work on it.
