Yeah.  That's why I put it all in this wiki:

I've found that if you haven't spent a great deal of time thinking
about the details of e-mail, there are usually subtle but important
issues you don't understand.  And even if you *have* spent a great
deal of time, there still can be subtle but important stuff you miss.
