Update on Remote Mentoring: Internet Draft Review Teams

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

All,

Just to update everyone on what is going on.   We currently have Internet Draft Review Teams in various degrees of formation for:

• 6LO / 6TISCH / ROLL: Brazil : Portuguese
• 6LO / 6TISCH / ROLL: India / China : English
• TLS / DANE: India / Singapore: English
• V6OPS: Latin America / Spanish
• MPLS / BESS : Latin America : Spanish
• DNSOP: Latin America: Spanish
• DETNET: Latin America / USA: English

For those of you who may not be familiar with this mentoring initiative, the purpose of Internet Draft review teams is to provide a way for people to get started posting to the email list for an IETF Working Group or reading Internet Drafts together. Sometimes people (especially when new) are not comfortable with the process of posting to the Working Group email list or want to check with others about their understanding of an Internet Draft before asking a question or posting a suggestion.

A Survey Monkey form is provided by the Mentoring Program to allow people to be a member of such a team. Questions are asked about time zone, WGs desired (up to two), and language preference. You may view at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Z8KD8GB

Please let me know any comments & as always, thank you mentors for your help with this!

Thanks,

Nalini Elkins
