I just realized that this ftp URL to an IPv4 addr looks somewhat "fishy".

The google search keywords that led me to the above URL of the PDF:
rsa netscape bsafe license rsadsi algorithm end rsa patent


The whole text seems to have originally been published here (as HTML):

http://web.archive.org/web/20010617072207/http://www.baltimore.com/devzone/patentexpiry/whitepaper.html

but www.archive.org does not have the PDF download, only the HTML variant.
