Er, your ISP-based IPv4 address often sticks out plenty even if your host is behind a NAT. Just look at the headers for gmail SMTP users, for example. As far as having the Bundespolizei at your door goes, that is sufficient. Most private individuals simply don't care, anyway. They do care if they can't get connected at all, which is why we need to move beyond 32 bits in the first place. Brian
