This kind of re-factoring is the most appealing proposal
I've seen so far in these threads.  As I understand it,
it would replace the functional block currently labeled
"IESG" with multiple specialized blocks, which would be
able to process their respective workloads largely
independently.

Separating WG management, document management, appeals
management, and policy stuff would not only reduce the
workload suffered by each serving individual, but would
also allow us to make use of people with somewhat narrower
skillsets than IESG service currently demands.
