way to do forwarding and top-posting repliesthan at present. (For

Plaintive humor notwithstanding, this all starts to look as if some sort
of BCP or even protocol "profile" is warranted, to describe preferred
practices in the creation and interpretation of RFC5322 objects within
"conversational exchanges".
I'd be happy to participate in a specification effort, assuming
community interest.
